When products ordered are in stock, orders are typically processed within 1 to 4 business days and shipped out via our shipping carriers.
Shipping times range from 1 to 4 business days in Canada, and 7 to 20 business days Internationally.
The average total delivery time (lead time + shipping time) is 3 to 11 business days in Canada, and 8 to 24 business days Internationally.
Please note that these shipping rates are subject to change. We are constantly working to improve shipping costs for our customers.
Everywhere Else
Orders that are placed on The Dark Side of The Spoon will be sent via FedEx or Canada Post. Please view your correspondence email after ordering your tracking number. To track your order, use the Universal Parcel Tracking tool which will accept tracking numbers from all major shipping carriers.
The Dark Side of The Spoon is not responsible for any customs fees and taxes applied to your order. All fees imposed during or after shipping are the responsibility of the customer (tariffs, taxes, etc.).
The Dark Side of The Spoon is not liable for any products damaged or lost during shipping. If you received your order damaged, please contact the shipment carrier or our support team directly to file a claim. Please save all packaging material and damaged goods before filing a claim.
The Dark Side of The Spoon ships to all countries around the world. Please allow up to 24 business days for your package to arrive if you live in areas that are far away from Canada.

Average total delivery times:
There are two factors that effect timelines: lead time and shipping time.
Lead time is the time that it takes for our team to craft, pack up, and drop off your order to the shipping carrier. Lead times are typically 1 to 4 business days.
Shipping time is the time that it takes for your order to from the shipping carrier to your address. In Canada expect 2 to 7 business days, and Internationally 7 to 20 business days.
All packages come with a tracking number so that you can stay in the loop about when your package will arrive. All customers are responsible for putting the correct address in to ensure that there are no issues.
After placing an order, you will get an email confirming your payment. Your order will then go into Processing. At this stage, we will pack up your order and get it ready for shipment.
Once your order has been shipped, your order will move into Completed status. You will recieve an email with your tracking number and confirmation that we have shipped out your order.
If it has been longer than 14 business days and you have not recieved any email with a tracking number, please get in touch with our team.
We currently ship to Canada, Europe, United Kingdom, and Australia.
After we ship out your package, you will be provided with a tracking number. Currently we use FedEx and Canada Post as our shipping carriers.

Everywhere Else
We currently use FedEx as our primary shipping carrier, but for some international shipments we use Canada Post. All orders come standard with a tracking number that will be provided to you via email once we have shipped out.
We currently ship out of British Columbia, Canada.
In the future we will be diversifying our inventory across global warehouses which will improve shipping times and costs globally.
